Keeping in the view of domestic and global demand of Cadmium Ingots, JPL has entered in manufacturing of Cadmium Ingots so that future demand of Cadmium Metal can be fulfilled in technological advancement of latest Ni-Cd Batteries.
Cadmium has became an important metal in the production of nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) rechargeable batteries and as a sacrificial corrosion-protection coating for iron and steel. Common industrial uses for cadmium today are in batteries, alloys, coatings (electroplating), solar cells, plastic stabilizers, and pigments.
Cadmium in Semiconductors and Electronics.
Cadmium oxide is used in cadmium plating baths, electrodes for storage batteries, cadmium salts, catalyst, ceramic glazes, phosphors, and nematocide. Major uses for cadmium oxide are as an ingredient for electroplating baths, optoelectronic devices, and in pigments.
